Transportation Officer

About the role

Dynafleet is seeking a Transportation Officer to coordinate the daily movement and delivery of containers, cargo, and vehicles from ports and terminals to designated locations in Lagos. The role involves assigning trucks and drivers, monitoring transit status, and ensuring accurate documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily movement and delivery of containers, cargo, and vehicles from ports and terminals to designated locations.
• Arrange and assign trucks, drivers, and transporters based on operational requirements.
• Follow up on trucks and cargo movements from terminal/port exit to final delivery.
• Monitor truck arrival, loading, gate‑in, gate‑out, transit, and delivery status.
• Verify delivery documentation such as delivery notes, terminal documents, and interchange documents.
• Prepare daily transportation reports showing completed trips, ongoing movements, delays, pending deliveries, and operational issues.

Required profile

• BSc in any related field.
• Minimum 36 months experience in shipping and logistics, preferably in port operations.
• Demonstrated responsibility and trustworthiness.
• Strong communication skills.
