About the role
The Operations Agent will handle complete processing of shipments at the DHL Aviation Hub in Lagos, ensuring all documentation and scanning information meet DHL Global SOP standards. You will play a critical part in keeping the network flow smooth and supporting timely flight closures.
Key responsibilities
- Recover and scan shipments from other stations promptly to meet flight departure schedules.
- Allocate shipments to the correct destination bags, ensuring proper tagging to avoid mis‑routing.
- Transmit WPX data and pre‑alerts to transit and final destinations to accelerate customs processing.
- Transfer special‑handling shipments to the appropriate sections to speed up transit.
- Report incidents for damaged, unidentified, or missing shipments via network communications.
- Load materials on ULDs according to aviation standards and ensure correct netting.
- Comply with DHL security, health, safety, and environmental policies.
Required profile
- Good knowledge of the DHL network environment and ability to drive.
- HND in any field or equivalent qualification.
