Ticketing and Reservation Officer

About the role

Elizabeth Maddeux is looking for an experienced and passionate Ticketing and Reservation Officer to manage its ticketing and reservation unit. The position is based in Lagos Island, is full-time, and carries a monthly salary of N250,000 to N300,000.

Key responsibilities

• Make reservations and bookings for customers and issue flight tickets, quoting fares and sending them to customers or as directed.
• Arrange passenger reservations and routing, and inform clients of essential travel information such as travel times.
• Answer questions about dates, prices and flight availability, and help customers with changes or cancellations while promoting special offers.
• Use computer reservation systems to check availability and determine whether space is available on requested travel dates.
• Educate customers on new and existing products, follow up enquiries and convert them into sales, and sell travel products.
• Keep informed of business changes affecting the ticketing area.

Required profile

• Minimum of an OND qualification.
• At least 3 to 4 years of ticketing experience.
• Experience in tour packaging is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills, excellent written and verbal communication, a positive attitude and a growth mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency in at least one of the three GDS systems, especially Amadeus and Galileo.
