Technical Support Consultant – Remote (Fluent English)

About the role

SupportYourApp is seeking a Technical Support Consultant to work remotely, providing secure private‑access and multi‑factor authentication support for global clients. The role involves troubleshooting network and VPN issues, analyzing traffic and logs, and ensuring a smooth user experience across multiple operating systems.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients with setup and troubleshooting of secure private‑access solutions and VPN/MFA configurations.
• Analyze network traffic, recommend performance improvements, and advise on bandwidth allocation for VPN users.
• Investigate log files to identify root causes of technical issues.
• Provide guidance across Windows, Linux, macOS, Android, and iOS platforms.
• Collaborate with clients and internal technical teams to resolve issues.

Required profile

• Solid knowledge of networking concepts such as IPsec tunnels, DNS, packet tracing, network ports, and firewalls.
• Understanding of VPNs, routing, split tunneling, and connector‑based WireGuard tunnels.
• Ability to read and analyze log files and troubleshoot technical problems.
• Positive, proactive attitude with strong analytical and research skills.
• Personal computer with at least 8 GB RAM and a stable internet connection (≥50 Mbps download, ≥40 Mbps upload).
