Technical Account Manager – Nigeria

About the role

Maintain strong customer relationships by providing technical expertise and support, ensuring customer satisfaction and driving business growth. You will be accountable for managing client projects and resolving technical issues efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Advise customers on product and production‑related problems, compile production guidelines and mixing recommendations.
• Support customers with microbiological analysis, use and sale of culture media (DMD), and quality‑assurance activities.
• Document processes in internal IT systems, maintain customer databases in CRM, and conduct technical training courses.
• Coordinate digitisation projects, optimise business processes in digital databases, and contribute to continuous standardisation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD in Food Technology, Food Chemistry or a related field.
• Several years of experience in the food industry, preferably in a technical or sales‑related role.
• Strong communication, customer orientation, collaboration, problem‑solving and adaptability skills.

Required skills

• Microbiological analysis and use of culture media (DMD).
• Quality‑assurance procedures and HACCP/food‑safety compliance.
• CRM and documentation tools (e.g., We Lead Care).
• Digital process optimisation and business‑process mapping.
