Team Lead, Workforce Lifecycle Services

About the role

Moniepoint Inc., Africa's all-in-one financial platform and Nigeria's largest merchant acquirer, is hiring a Team Lead, Workforce Lifecycle Services. Reporting to the Lead, Employee Lifecycle Services, you own the end-to-end experience of how independent contractors join, transition and leave the company. You design and manage processes so that new contractors are welcomed, equipped and productive quickly, and departing ones leave with clarity, respect and compliance, working closely with Workforce Business Partners, IT and Compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Set the vision and roadmap for onboarding, offboarding and transition management across all Moniepoint entities.
• Lead and develop a team delivering consistent, efficient and compliant lifecycle processes across diverse geographies.
• Partner with the Lead, Employee Lifecycle Services, Workforce Business Partners, Centres of Excellence and cross-functional teams.
• Standardize and scale onboarding and offboarding frameworks using modern technology and automation.
• Oversee lifecycle workflows, documentation and standard templates.
• Ensure compliance with internal governance, data protection regulations and local labor laws.
• Analyze workforce lifecycle data to track SLAs and improve the contractor experience.
• Advise People leaders on workflow design and service delivery standards.

Required profile

• 5-7 years of HR or People Operations experience, including onboarding and offboarding workflows.
• Proven track record of designing, documenting and scaling operational processes in fast-paced environments.
• Hands-on experience with multi-entity or cross-border operations.
• Preferred: fintech, banking or other highly regulated industry background; familiarity with African or international employment compliance; experience leading HR process digitization.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of HR systems, automation tools and contractor management platforms such as BambooHR, Workday, SAP and Deel.
• Process and systems architecture, process automation and workflow optimization.
• Strong communication and cross-functional stakeholder management.
