Team Lead – HR & Career Consulting

About the role

The Team Lead role at Career Consult is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Lagos. You will oversee a team of HR and career‑consulting professionals, ensuring high‑quality service delivery to a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise project execution and review team outputs to meet company standards and timelines.
• Coordinate multiple client engagements, handling needs assessment, solution design, and progress reporting.
• Facilitate regular team meetings, support performance management, and mentor team members.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to refine processes, service offerings, and client interaction strategies.

Required profile

• Strong team leadership and people‑management abilities, with experience coaching and motivating staff.
• Proven project‑management and organizational skills, capable of handling several client engagements simultaneously.
• Excellent client‑relationship and communication skills, including stakeholder engagement, presentation, and negotiation.
• Analytical and problem‑solving capability to assess HR challenges and propose data‑informed solutions.
• Solid HR and talent‑management knowledge (recruitment, performance management, employee development, career coaching).
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
• Ability to work on‑site in Lagos and adapt to varying client needs across industries.
