Team Lead – Data Scientist

About the role

The Lead Data Scientist will drive data‑informed decision‑making and innovation across the organisation. Partnering with business stakeholders, the role will translate strategic objectives into advanced analytics, machine‑learning and AI solutions that support growth and digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage end‑to‑end data‑science and AI projects, from conception to delivery.
• Develop predictive models, machine‑learning algorithms and advanced analytics to solve business challenges.
• Provide technical leadership, coaching and mentorship to a team of Data Scientists, including code reviews and best‑practice enforcement.
• Collaborate with business units to gather requirements and translate them into data‑driven solutions.
• Drive data‑quality improvement initiatives and support enterprise‑wide data‑governance efforts.

Required profile

• First‑degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience leading high‑performing data‑science teams and delivering end‑to‑end analytics or AI solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate insights to senior, non‑technical stakeholders.
