Talent Acquisition Specialist

About the role

We are building an ambitious venture and need a Talent Acquisition Specialist to own our recruitment engine across local and international markets. You will act as both a trusted advisor and a hands‑on recruiter, ensuring we attract, evaluate, and secure top talent at every level of the business.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment for all departments, including telesales, student support, operations, administration, marketing, IT, and leadership roles.
• Conduct structured CV screening, competency‑based interviews, skills assessments, and candidate evaluations tailored to each position.
• Lead offer management, negotiation, documentation, and counter‑offer handling.
• Build and maintain proactive, segmented talent pipelines to reduce reactive hiring and shorten time‑to‑fill.
• Source candidates via Jobberman, BrighterMonday, LinkedIn, direct outreach, referrals, and self‑identified channels.
• Develop relationships with universities, professional associations, BPOs, and specialist recruitment agencies across Nigeria.
• Design and maintain an excellent candidate experience, coordinating interview scheduling, panel briefings, feedback collection, and hiring decisions.

Required profile

• Deep knowledge of the Nigerian talent landscape and familiarity with international remote hiring.
• Proven ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously without compromising quality.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, partnering with leadership and hiring managers across diverse functions.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
