Systems Analyst – Business & Technical Solutions

About the role

The Systems Analyst will lead requirements‑gathering sessions with business and product stakeholders, translate high‑level needs into detailed functional and non‑functional specifications, and work closely with product and engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate requirements workshops and capture business objectives.
• Convert business requirements into functional specifications, use cases, user stories, and process maps.
• Analyze current systems and workflows to identify improvement opportunities.
• Design solution proposals that balance business goals, technical feasibility, scalability and maintainability.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to refine scope and with Engineering to validate designs.
• Define APIs, integration requirements, data flows and system interactions.
• Identify edge cases, dependencies, technical risks and implementation constraints early.
• Support development teams by clarifying requirements and resolving ambiguities.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, solution reviews and release planning.
• Work with QA to ensure requirements are testable and acceptance criteria are clear.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Mathematics, Business Information Systems or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 5‑8 years of experience in systems or business analysis, solution design or product delivery, with at least 3 years in Agile software development environments.
• Experience in fintech, banking or high‑growth technology‑driven organisations.
• Professional certifications such as CBAP, PMI‑PBA, Agile/Scrum or solution architecture are an advantage.

Required skills

• Agile methodology (Scrum/Kanban).
• API design and system integration.
• Requirements gathering and documentation (use cases, user stories, process maps).
• Technical risk identification and mitigation.
