About the role
This position supports the installation, commissioning and maintenance of surface and subsurface survey positioning systems and related data acquisition sensors for offshore and on‑shore projects. The role is hands‑on, requiring the ability to work on rigs, barges and vessels while ensuring equipment meets client and manufacturer specifications.
Key responsibilities
- Install and configure technical software packages and computer systems.
- Connect and configure computer networks and maintain directory structures.
- Perform fault finding and diagnose issues in software and hardware.
- Install, test and commission survey positioning systems, data acquisition sensors and related equipment.
- Use test and measurement tools, prepare equipment for transit, and mobilise offline/online navigation and geophysical positioning systems.
- Assist in the operation and maintenance of survey equipment on rigs, barges and vessels.
Required profile
- Minimum of 1 year relevant experience.
- At least an HND in a related technical field.
