Supply Chain Analyst

About the role

Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals FZE, a 650,000 bpd refinery in Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos, is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst. The role provides data-driven analysis, performance monitoring, forecasting, reporting and decision support across procurement, inventory management, warehousing, logistics and material planning, with the aim of improving efficiency, reducing costs, optimizing inventory and supporting business continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze inventory, warehousing and logistics data, and monitor supply chain performance against KPIs
• Support demand and material planning, develop dashboards, reports and scorecards, and run spending and inventory performance analysis
• Identify process improvement opportunities and support risk identification and mitigation
• Monitor inventory levels, slow-moving and obsolete stock, stock-out risks and critical spare parts availability
• Track freight costs, demurrage and detention costs, and analyze transportation and logistics performance
• Support demand forecasting, replenishment strategies and forecast accuracy monitoring
• Conduct root cause analysis of disruptions, support Lean and continuous improvement, and build business cases for improvements
• Maintain data quality, master data and reporting standards

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Economics, Operations Management or Business Administration; Master's or MBA is an advantage
• 3-7+ years of experience in supply chain management or heavy manufacturing
• Professional certification such as Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, CIPS, APICS or CILSCM is an advantage
• Experience managing multiple priorities, deadlines and stakeholders

Required skills

• ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA, SAP MM, SAP WM/EWM, SAP Ariba advantageous) and business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau)
• Advanced Excel, Power Query, Power Pivot and VBA (VBA advantageous); SQL and data cleansing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
• Supply chain analytics, KPI development, spend analysis and cost control
