Store Keeper – Procurement & Inventory Management

About the role

Alpha-Plus Apartments 91 is seeking a diligent Store Keeper to manage procurement and inventory for its hospitality operations in Abuja. The role involves sourcing materials, maintaining stock records, and ensuring timely delivery of goods to support daily hotel activities.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and source required materials, products, and services.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular physical counts.
• Place purchase orders based on demand forecasts and monitor order status.
• Oversee receiving, inspect deliveries for quantity and quality, and report discrepancies.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and tracking of inventory.
• Monitor inventory costs, implement cost‑saving measures, and evaluate supplier performance.
• Generate regular reports on inventory status, purchasing activity, and supplier performance.
• Collaborate with other departments to align procurement with business needs.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience.
• Basic knowledge of accounting and strong organisational skills.
• Attention to detail, professional sense of urgency, and ability to make fast decisions.
• Self‑motivated with good verbal and written communication.
• Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks (a plus).
• General store management and purchasing system operation.
