SOC Analyst (Level 2)

About the role

We are looking for a Level 2 Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst to join our cybersecurity operations team. In this role you will help protect the organization’s assets from unauthorized access, data alteration and denial‑of‑service attacks through proactive threat identification, incident detection, response and forensic investigations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse security events across on‑premise, datacenter and cloud environments.
• Identify vulnerabilities and emerging threats, and recommend remediation actions.
• Conduct incident response activities, including containment, eradication and post‑incident forensic analysis.
• Review and advise on networking and security configurations to improve overall posture.
• Develop and maintain metrics that reflect the security health of the infrastructure.
• Stay up‑to‑date with threat intelligence feeds and industry reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or a related field.
• At least 4 years of professional experience in cybersecurity.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a SOC or forensic analyst supporting incident response.
