Site Engineer

About the role

Cluuf House Construction is looking for a technically strong, organised and hands‑on Site Engineer to oversee construction activities on residential and commercial projects in Abuja. You will work closely with the Project Manager, contractors, artisans and suppliers to ensure safe, accurate and on‑time delivery of works.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise day‑to‑day construction activities, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications and quality standards.
• Set out works, verify dimensions, levels and alignment, and monitor workmanship.
• Coordinate artisans, subcontractors and site workers to maintain an efficient workflow.
• Read and interpret architectural, structural and MEP drawings, escalating inconsistencies.
• Prepare regular site progress reports with photographs, track labour, materials and equipment.
• Promote and enforce safe working practices, report hazards and maintain a clean site.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Civil Engineering, Building Technology or related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant construction/site experience.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials and workmanship.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Good organisational, documentation and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or other construction‑related software (advantage).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
