Showroom Manager

About the role

Somotex Nigeria Limited is seeking a dynamic Showroom Manager to lead its electronics and appliance showroom in Abuja. The role focuses on driving sales, ensuring an exceptional customer experience, and maintaining high standards of visual merchandising.

Key responsibilities

• Consistently achieve or exceed monthly and annual sales targets for electronics, TVs, refrigerators, air conditioners, small appliances and gadgets.
• Track sales metrics, identify gaps and implement corrective actions to boost performance.
• Promote complementary products and upgrades, and design targeted promotional activities based on buying patterns.
• Oversee daily showroom operations, ensuring hygiene, optimal product displays and compliance with brand guidelines.
• Maintain functional demo units, accurate pricing and up‑to‑date specifications.
• Deliver premium customer service, handling escalated complaints promptly and professionally.
• Conduct regular training sessions on product knowledge, sales techniques and service best practices.
• Monitor stock levels, manage replenishment, rotate inventory and perform regular audits to reconcile discrepancies.

Required profile

• Proven ability to meet sales targets in a retail environment.
• Experience in showroom or store management, preferably in electronics or appliances.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to resolve issues effectively.
• Excellent communication and team‑leadership skills.
