Senior Travel Consultant (Lekki, Lagos)

About the role

A fast-growing travel agency, recruited through eRecruiter, is hiring a Senior Travel Consultant to be based in Lagos. The role covers the day-to-day running of the agency, its commercial activities and the supervision of the travel team.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the travel agency.
• Develop and implement strategies to grow the business and increase revenue.
• Manage flight bookings, travel packages, visa assistance and other travel services.
• Build and maintain relationships with airlines, travel partners and other industry stakeholders.
• Supervise and coordinate the travel team to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Build a strong client base and handle enquiries, complaints and escalations professionally.
• Monitor sales performance, prepare regular reports for management and identify new business opportunities and partnerships.
• Ensure compliance with travel industry regulations and manage pricing, quotations and invoicing.

Required profile

• 5 years of relevant experience in the travel agency or travel management industry.
• Resides within or around Lekki for ease of commute.
