Senior Server, Virtualization and Storage Engineer

About the role

SBTS Group LLC is seeking a senior engineer to design, deploy and maintain enterprise‑grade server, virtualization and storage solutions. The role focuses on high‑availability infrastructure for critical production workloads in a fast‑growing IT environment.

Key responsibilities

• Install and commission enterprise servers and storage systems, including rack integration and management access.
• Build and maintain high‑availability virtualization clusters using VMware, Hyper‑V, Proxmox or equivalent platforms.
• Configure storage connectivity, RAID, replication and capacity allocation for production workloads.
• Administer and harden Windows and Linux servers, manage firmware, patches and privileged access.
• Implement encrypted local and off‑site backups, define retention policies and verify restore points through regular testing.
• Monitor performance and hardware health, resolve faults, coordinate vendor support and keep detailed build and recovery documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience with enterprise servers and storage hardware.
• Proven experience deploying and supporting clustered virtualization environments.
• Strong Windows and Linux administration skills.
• Deep knowledge of RAID, NVMe/SAS and enterprise storage concepts.
• Hands‑on experience with backup, replication, disaster‑recovery and production fault diagnosis.
