Senior Project Manager - Oil & Gas Capital Projects

About the role

A senior Project Manager is sought to lead the execution planning, procurement and cost estimation of oil and gas capital projects exceeding $500M. The role involves strong oversight of technical workstreams and high-level relationships with partners, commercial stakeholders and government entities, with mentorship of junior staff. It is offered as a full-time onsite position in Nigeria.

Key responsibilities

• Lead execution planning, procurement strategies and cost estimation for capital projects over $500M.
• Implement project control systems and scheduling frameworks so milestones are met within budget and scope.
• Manage relationships with co-venture partners, commercial stakeholders and government entities.
• Oversee technical workstreams in areas such as marine, facilities, subsea, pipelines or structures.
• Mentor junior project staff and engineers and share institutional knowledge.

Required profile

• Minimum 10+ years managing and executing major oil and gas capital projects with budgets over $500M.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated international project experience, including at least two successful overseas assignments.
• Leadership of cross-functional teams and complex external stakeholder relationships.
• Deep technical expertise in at least one discipline: marine, facilities, subsea, pipelines or structures.
