Senior Manager & Office Lead – Abuja

About the role

IDinsight is opening a new office in Abuja and seeks a Senior Manager who will both lead client engagements and establish the office’s operations. The role blends analytical work with leadership of the local team, reporting to the West and North Africa Regional Director.

Key responsibilities

• Manage client relationships, providing evidence‑based advice to senior leaders in governments, foundations, NGOs and impact‑driven businesses.
• Lead all phases of advisory and evaluation projects, including design, analytical oversight, budget management and delivery of high‑quality reports and policy briefs.
• Mentor junior staff, supporting their professional development and ensuring rigorous analytical standards.
• Represent IDinsight in Nigeria, oversee office administration, finance and HR functions, and ensure compliance with local regulations.

Required profile

• Advanced degree (e.g., public policy, economics, public health, business) or equivalent experience.
• 6‑8 years of relevant experience, including managerial roles and work with Nigerian federal or state governments.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities, with a proven track record of motivating diverse teams.
• Commitment to using data and evidence to improve development outcomes.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with statistical software for data analysis.
• Project management and financial management expertise.
