Senior Gynecologist / ART Specialist

About the role

A premier reproductive healthcare institution in Nigeria, known for its Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) services, is recruiting a Senior Gynecologist / ART Specialist through a recruitment partner. The role leads patient fertility journeys and performs advanced ART procedures, with a 3-month intensive ART/IVF training program led by international specialists. The position is based in Lagos (Ikoyi) with periodic rotations to Abuja and Asaba.

Key responsibilities

• Fertility assessment and care: consultations, diagnostic reviews (hormonal profiles, semen analysis, imaging) and individualized treatment plans.
• Perform ART procedures: ovarian stimulation monitoring, trigger timing, egg retrievals, embryo transfers, IUIs and sonohysterography.
• Patient management: pre- and post-treatment counseling, failed cycle reviews, early pregnancy monitoring and first-trimester scans.
• Clinical governance and leadership: work with embryologists, nurses and lab teams, mentor junior staff and take part in clinical audits and research.

Required profile

• MBBS with FWACS or FMCOG fellowship in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
• Demonstrated clinical background in O&G; hands-on ART/IVF experience or strong interest in it is an advantage.
• Based in Lagos (Ikoyi); willingness to rotate to Abuja or Asaba.
• Preferred start within 2-4 weeks of offer acceptance; relocation support includes a one-way flight to Lagos and temporary housing for the first month.
