Senior Frontend Engineer

About the role

Our users are on low‑end Android devices with limited connectivity and battery life, and they rely on our web experience for real‑money transactions. We need a senior frontend engineer who treats performance, reliability and user experience as personal responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain three production web surfaces – a consumer Next.js app, a partner B2B dashboard (Vite + React) and an internal admin dashboard (Vite + React).
• Translate Figma designs into clean, reusable components and ensure visual fidelity across devices.
• Diagnose and optimise page load times, reducing slow loads on low‑end phones from several seconds to acceptable levels.
• Collaborate with backend engineers on API contracts and ensure data integrity for critical flows such as payments, wallet funding, withdrawals, KYC and currency conversions.
• Package features into Docker images and oversee their rollout via Argo CD to a Kubernetes cluster.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience shipping React applications used by real customers, with strong TypeScript proficiency.
• Hands‑on experience with Next.js and/or Vite, Redux Toolkit, REST APIs, Git workflows and code reviews.
• Commitment to post‑deployment quality – monitoring performance, handling edge cases and fixing production issues.
• Ability to explain technical decisions clearly to product managers and to ask clarifying questions about specifications.
• Comfort using AI‑assisted coding tools responsibly while protecting user data.
