Senior Brand Designer – Fintech Payments

About the role

Our client, a technology company focused on solving payments challenges for African businesses, is seeking a Senior Brand Designer. You will lead art direction while also executing hands‑on design work, shaping brand, marketing, product storytelling and launch experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Lead creative direction for high‑priority campaigns, product launches, web, social, events, presentations and merchandise.
• Build and maintain a scalable brand system, including asset libraries, templates and guidelines.
• Design and animate brand assets yourself – key visuals, motion pieces, social assets, pitch decks and event collateral.
• Set art direction across illustration, motion, photography and video, collaborating with internal and external partners.
• Partner with Brand Storytelling to align creative output with business goals.

Required profile

• 5+ years of design and art‑direction experience, preferably in a tech startup, agency or product‑led company.
• Hands‑on senior expertise in both brand and motion design, with a portfolio that clearly shows personal direction and execution.
• Strong conceptual thinking, visual judgment and obsessive attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficient in Figma.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Proficient in Google Slides.
