Senior Accounting & Audit Expert (US GAAP / AI Training)

About the role

Gramian Consulting is seeking a senior accounting and audit professional to support the creation and evaluation of AI‑driven accounting scenarios. The nine‑week contract focuses on designing realistic US GAAP‑based tasks, reviewing AI outputs, and ensuring high‑quality, standards‑compliant results.

Key responsibilities

• Create complex accounting and audit tasks that reflect real‑world professional situations.
• Develop gold‑standard solutions aligned with US GAAP, financial reporting, and assurance standards.
• Review AI‑generated outputs for accuracy, completeness, professional judgment, and relevance.
• Assess financial statements, disclosures, and intricate accounting treatments under US GAAP.
• Evaluate internal controls, compliance processes, and audit risk assessments.
• Identify technical errors, unsupported conclusions, and material reporting issues.
• Calibrate and review work of other contributors against defined quality standards.
• Escalate ambiguous edge cases to the functional expert lead.

Required profile

• 8‑15 years of professional accounting or audit experience, preferably at manager‑director level.
• Professional qualification such as CPA, CA, ACCA, or an equivalent regional credential.
• Demonstrated expertise in US GAAP, financial statements, disclosures, and reporting requirements.
• Strong experience handling complex accounting and financial‑reporting issues.
