Security Liaison Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Security Liaison Specialist who will serve as the primary interface between MAX and law enforcement agencies. The role involves managing police engagements, supporting investigations, facilitating asset recovery, and ensuring timely resolution of security incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between the company and police, law enforcement, and other security agencies.
• Coordinate and manage cases involving theft, fraud, vandalism, asset diversion, misconduct, and other security‑related matters.
• Support asset tracing, recovery efforts, and prosecution of cases involving employees, customers, vendors, or third parties.
• Assist with evidence gathering, case documentation, information sharing, and liaison with legal and law‑enforcement authorities.
• Prepare regular reports on investigations, recoveries, law‑enforcement engagements, risks, and recommended actions.
• Lead or support responses to major security incidents, including escalation, coordination with law enforcement, and post‑incident reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Criminology, Law, Security Management, Public Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in law‑enforcement liaison, security operations, investigations, intelligence, or a related function.
• Prior experience working with the Nigeria Police Force or other security agencies is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of criminal‑justice processes, investigations, evidence management, and prosecution procedures.
• Excellent investigative, analytical, written and verbal communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, discretion, and ability to work under pressure.
