Security Guard

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Lagos, Nigeria. The Security Guard will monitor premises, control access points and ensure a safe environment for clients and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor premises and control access points to ensure only authorized individuals enter designated areas.
• Conduct regular patrols, identify and report suspicious activities, and respond promptly to incidents.
• Maintain accurate logs of security events and assist visitors with basic customer service.
• Collaborate with other security personnel and management to uphold safety policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal and customer‑service skills to interact professionally with clients, visitors and team members.
• Ability to stay alert, calm and decisive under pressure with good observation and reporting abilities.
• Willingness to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Prior experience in security, law enforcement or a related field is beneficial.

Required skills

• Premises monitoring and access‑control techniques.
• Basic emergency‑response procedures.
• Use of CCTV and other security equipment for incident documentation.
