About the role
The DAS Sales Representative will promote and sell ASSA ABLOY's full range of digital and access solution products to end users, architects, consultants, system integrators and installers across Nigeria. You will be responsible for generating new business, managing existing accounts and delivering technical sales presentations.
Key responsibilities
- Research organisations and individuals to identify new sales opportunities.
- Create, develop and close new business deals, from cold call to contract signing.
- Prepare and deliver technical sales presentations and product demonstrations.
- Negotiate contracts and manage customer expectations.
- Maintain accurate customer and proposal records and provide regular forecasts to the Managing Director.
- Build and strengthen relationships with existing clients to generate repeat business.
- Collaborate with marketing and leadership teams to develop sales strategies and new marketing initiatives.
- Present sales pipeline and target reports to business stakeholders.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience in access control, security installation, construction or building materials.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university; courses in construction management, architectural design, IT or computer systems are a plus.
- Proven track record in distributor management and field‑sales support within the region.
- Strong communication, negotiation and time‑management abilities.
- Technical aptitude in building construction, electromechanical systems and IT networking.
