Lead Store Clerk

About the role

The Lead Store Clerk oversees daily store operations, ensuring a respectful environment and helping customers make informed product decisions. This role works with minimal supervision, either supporting a supervisor in a larger store or acting as the operational leader in a smaller location.

Key responsibilities

• Direct all store activities, assign tasks, and provide training to staff.
• Prepare weekly schedules, manage daily assignments, and coach employees.
• Greet customers, assess needs, and deliver high‑quality product knowledge.
• Operate point‑of‑sale terminals, process sales, returns, and manage register opening/closing.
• Maintain attractive store displays, monitor inventory levels, and support ordering and replenishment.
• Track key performance indicators such as sales, inventory, and expense goals.
• Provide backup support for the store supervisor, including timekeeping and housekeeping duties.

Required profile

• Endowed member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter‑day Saints in Nigeria.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, retailing, merchandising, or a related field.
• Experience in retail or store management, with people‑management responsibilities.
• Ability to work scheduled hours, including Saturdays and holidays.
