Sales Manager / Representative

About the role

The Sales Manager/Representative will lead and develop the sales team for Sakopower’s solar inverter solutions in Port Harcourt and the wider Rivers State. The role focuses on driving sales performance, building dealer relationships, and expanding market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, train and motivate the sales team to improve overall sales capability.
• Negotiate and close business deals with potential solar inverter dealers and corporate partners.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
• Supervise execution of the sales plan, monitor task completion and drive sales performance.
• Conduct market and competitive analysis, devise marketing strategies to boost brand awareness and market share.
• Oversee sales contract signing, implementation and follow‑up to ensure compliance.
• Collect, organize and report sales data regularly, providing insights and improvement suggestions.
• Identify and engage customers, distributors and companies to facilitate transactions.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth sales processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional qualifications.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Minimum three years of professional sales experience, preferably in solar power energy.
• Proven executive sales experience in the solar industry.

• Competitive salary ranging from NGN 150,000 to NGN 250,000 per month (negotiable).
