Sales Manager

About the role

The Sales Manager will lead the marketing, sales and distribution of technology and industrial products for Browncon Group of Companies. This role focuses on driving revenue growth, expanding the customer base and strengthening distribution channels in the Abuja market.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to meet revenue and sales targets.
• Identify, prospect and acquire new customers, distributors and corporate clients.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline, following up on leads and opportunities.
• Conduct market research to uncover customer needs, trends and competitor activity.
• Prepare and deliver product presentations, quotations and commercial proposals.
• Negotiate sales agreements and close deals in line with company policies.
• Develop and maintain distribution channels for the company’s products.
• Monitor sales performance, produce regular reports and provide market feedback to management.
• Collaborate with operations, procurement and other departments to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Implement strategies to improve customer retention and repeat purchases.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Economics, Engineering, Technology or related field.
• 3–5 years proven experience in sales, business development or commercial management, preferably in technology, industrial products or B2B distribution.
• Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Strong understanding of B2B sales and customer acquisition.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative and deliver results with minimal supervision.
• Strong reporting, analytical and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel as required.
