Sales Intern

About the role

Geoinfotech Resources Limited is hiring a full-time Sales Intern in Nigeria. The intern supports the sales team in lead generation, prospecting, follow-up and basic sales support, while learning the business.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with lead generation and prospecting, researching and identifying potential customers and business opportunities.
• Contact prospective clients by call, email and other approved channels, and follow up on leads.
• Help prepare quotations, proposals and sales presentations.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, prospects and client interactions.
• Support the sales team during client meetings and presentations, and promote the company's services, products and training programmes.
• Assist with customer enquiries and direct them to the right team.
• Monitor sales activities and give regular updates to the Sales Team Lead.
• Support sales campaigns, events and other business development activities, and perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Currently studying or recently graduated in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Management or a related field.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence talking to prospective clients.
• Strong follow-up and organizational skills; willingness to learn and work towards sales targets.
• Previous sales or customer service experience is an advantage.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Lead generation, customer relationship management, negotiation and teamwork.
