Sales Executive – Retail Cosmetics

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Executive to join our retail team in Port Harcourt. You will be the front‑line ambassador for our cosmetics and beauty range, helping customers find the right products while driving sales.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional manner.
• Advise shoppers on suitable cosmetic and beauty products based on their needs.
• Explain product features, benefits and proper usage.
• Process purchases accurately and handle payments using the POS system.
• Maintain tidy and well‑organized shelves and product displays.
• Monitor stock levels, report low or damaged items, and support stock receiving and labeling.
• Promote new arrivals, discounts and ongoing promotions.
• Deliver excellent customer service to encourage repeat business.
• Handle customer complaints politely and escalate when necessary.
• Assist with opening and closing store procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum OND qualification.
• At least 12 months of retail or cosmetic sales experience (preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Basic knowledge of cosmetics and beauty products.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Neat appearance and professional attitude.

Required skills

• POS machine operation.
• Basic sales record system usage.
