About the role
Glovo is looking for a motivated Sales Executive to join its fast‑growing team in Ibadan. You will be responsible for bringing local stores and larger brands onto the Glovo platform, helping them reach millions of users.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with small local shops and larger brands to showcase their products on Glovo.
- Own the full sales cycle – lead qualification, pitching, negotiation, deal submission, onboarding, and early‑partner performance monitoring.
- Meet monthly and quarterly sales objectives set by the company.
- Coordinate closely with internal teams such as Content, Operations, and Finance to resolve onboarding issues.
- Track early partner activity and take corrective actions when performance metrics fall short.
Required profile
- 2+ years of experience in sales, business development, or other customer‑facing roles.
- Experience in food delivery, hospitality, or restaurant sectors is a plus.
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
- Highly energetic, resilient “hunter” mentality with a proactive, organised approach.
- Strong data literacy and commercial judgement to focus on high‑value partners.
