Sales Executive – Automotive Lubricants

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Executive to lead the growth of automotive lubricant sales across Nigeria. You will be responsible for expanding market reach, building strong distributor networks, and ensuring product availability in key territories.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to increase lubricant sales in assigned markets.
• Identify, recruit, and develop distributors, dealers, and trade partners.
• Execute Route to Market (RTM) strategies for efficient product flow.
• Expand existing markets and open new territories.
• Plan and participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and promotional events.
• Conduct regular market visits to gather intelligence and support partners.
• Collaborate with marketing and logistics to ensure product availability and timely delivery.
• Track sales performance, provide forecasts and market insights to management.
• Support the launch and rollout of new lubricant products.
• Build relationships with retailers, mechanics, transporters, and end‑users.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in sales and distribution of lubricants, FMCG, or automotive products.
• Proven track record in market expansion and distributor development.
• Hands‑on experience launching new products in the market.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship‑building abilities.
• Street‑smart, proactive, result‑oriented and able to work independently.
