Sales Engineer – OEM

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Sales Engineer to drive sales growth and develop new business opportunities for industrial products and engineering solutions. The role involves managing key customer accounts across manufacturing sectors in Port Harcourt and the wider Rivers State.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales growth and achieve assigned revenue and profitability targets.
• Develop new business opportunities through direct sales and relationship management.
• Promote and sell industrial products, including machinery parts and lubricants.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers across manufacturing industries.
• Provide technical product recommendations and support to customers.
• Conduct site visits, product demonstrations, and sales presentations.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
• Prepare accurate sales reports and maintain CRM/sales records.
• Ensure excellent customer service and support throughout the sales cycle.

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 years B2B sales experience in an engineering, manufacturing, or industrial products company.
• Proven experience selling compressors, pumps, valves, bearings, conveyors, belts, lubricants, or similar industrial machinery/components.
• Experience selling to FMCG, Food & Beverage, Construction, Cement, Manufacturing, or related sectors.
• Strong technical sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Self‑driven, target‑oriented and able to work independently.
• B.Sc. or HND in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
