Sales Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Sales Assistant to join our retail team at Avix Mobile Devices in Port Harcourt. You will be the first point of contact for customers, helping them find the right mobile phones and accessories while driving store sales.

Key responsibilities

• Greet walk‑in customers and provide detailed product information on mobile phones and accessories.
• Achieve daily, weekly and monthly sales targets.
• Recommend suitable products based on customer needs and preferences.
• Demonstrate product features and benefits effectively.
• Maintain attractive product displays and keep the store clean and organized.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints and after‑sales support professionally.
• Stay updated on product knowledge, promotions and market trends.
• Process sales transactions accurately and keep proper records.
• Assist with inventory management and stock‑taking activities.

Required profile

• OND/HND/Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field.
• At least 2 years of retail sales experience; experience in the mobile phone sector is a plus.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation abilities.
• Customer‑focused attitude and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of smartphones, accessories and mobile technology.
