About the role
The Risk and Credit Officer will support effective credit administration, risk assessment, loan monitoring, and recovery while ensuring compliance with organisational policies and regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities
- Support credit administration, risk assessment, loan monitoring and recovery.
- Ensure compliance with the organisation’s policies and applicable regulatory standards.
- Evaluate and assess credit/loan applications.
- Monitor loan performance and identify potential risks.
- Participate in loan recovery and follow‑up activities.
Required profile
- Proven integrity and strong sense of accountability.
- Sound educational background with practical experience in credit administration and risk management.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Good knowledge of microfinance operations.
- Leadership capacity and sound decision‑making skills.
