Retail Manager

About the role

The Retail Manager will drive growth within Sika Nigeria’s retail sales channel by developing and implementing effective sales strategies, strengthening dealer relationships, and ensuring product availability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute retail sales strategies to achieve targets and expand market share.
• Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with dealers, retailers, distributors, and other channel partners.
• Ensure optimal product availability, visibility, and distribution across retail outlets.
• Collaborate with Marketing on promotional campaigns and trade marketing initiatives.
• Work closely with Technical, Customer Service, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to deliver seamless customer support.
• Conduct regular market visits, analyze sales data, and provide actionable insights.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in retail or commercial sales, preferably in the construction industry.
• HND/BSc in Engineering, Environmental Sciences or related field.
• Professional certification (COREN) and hands‑on experience with the built‑up environment.

Required skills

• ERP experience in CRM and Salesforce.
• Knowledge of micro and macro economic metrics.
