Restaurant Supervisor / Assistant Restaurant Manager

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Restaurant Supervisor / Assistant Restaurant Manager to lead our team during assigned shifts in Abuja. You will ensure smooth daily operations, maintain high service standards, and support sales growth.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee restaurant operations during shifts, coordinating front‑of‑house, kitchen and support staff.
• Monitor staff attendance, performance, appearance and discipline.
• Handle customer complaints promptly and ensure excellent service.
• Maintain food quality, service speed, cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Communicate orders accurately between front‑of‑house and kitchen.
• Drive upselling, promote menu items and identify repeat‑business opportunities.
• Assist with corporate orders, group bookings and events.
• Track stock levels, wastage, storage and portion control; report discrepancies.
• Manage POS transactions, end‑of‑shift cash reconciliation and billing.
• Prepare daily shift reports covering sales, attendance, complaints, stock issues and incidents.
• Train new employees and enforce SOP compliance.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in restaurant, hotel or food‑service operations.
• Previous supervisory role such as restaurant supervisor, senior waiter or assistant manager.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant operations and customer service.
• Ability to work under pressure and with limited supervision.
