Resource Person for Training Children & Adolescents on Interactive Forum Theatre

About the role

The Social Development Forum (SDF) Banke seeks an experienced resource person to design and deliver interactive forum theatre training for children and adolescents. This consultancy will support SDF’s child wellbeing and integrated development initiatives across Janaki and Narainapur Rural Municipalities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a culturally appropriate interactive forum theatre curriculum addressing gender‑based violence, early marriage, menstrual stigma, and other harmful practices.
• Facilitate hands‑on training sessions for children and adolescents, creating safe creative spaces for critical reflection.
• Collaborate with SDF staff, local partners, and community stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Monitor and evaluate the impact of training activities, providing clear reports and recommendations.
• Prepare and submit required documentation, including technical and financial proposals, in accordance with the TOR.

Required profile

• Qualified individual or firm with proven experience in interactive forum theatre or similar participatory methods.
• Demonstrated expertise in child protection, gender issues, and community‑based interventions.
• Ability to work in rural settings of Nepal and engage diverse adolescent groups.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills, with a track record of delivering results in development projects.
