Remote Biologist – CRISPR Gene Editing (Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a remote Biologist to lead CRISPR‑based gene editing projects on a contract basis. The role involves designing, optimizing and executing molecular experiments while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to feed high‑quality data into AI models.

Key responsibilities

• Design, optimize and run CRISPR gene‑editing experiments.
• Develop cloning strategies and generate novel constructs and cell lines.
• Perform genotyping, PCR assays and sequence analyses to validate edits.
• Design synthetic DNA/RNA sequences and support high‑throughput screening workflows.
• Translate experimental results into structured data for AI training.
• Document procedures and results with precision to ensure reproducibility.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 1 month of relevant hands‑on experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong attention to scientific detail.
• Self‑driven, collaborative mindset and commitment to data accuracy.
