Real Estate Legal Analyst – Remote

About the role

The Real Estate Legal Analyst will work remotely on a contract basis, reviewing land control documents such as deeds, ground leases, easements and rights‑of‑way. The role supports due‑diligence workflows for energy, real‑estate and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with project and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review and evaluate land control instruments for term, exclusivity and conveyance clauses.
• Identify deficiencies, gaps and execution issues in documentation packages.
• Organize findings into clear, standardized formats for senior legal review.
• Process and annotate land and real‑estate documents as part of due‑diligence workflows.
• Flag non‑compliant or incomplete filings based on project and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with senior reviewers to escalate and resolve complex document issues.

Required profile

• Strong experience as a paralegal or legal document reviewer, preferably in energy, real estate or infrastructure.
• Hands‑on experience reviewing deeds, ground leases, easements and rights‑of‑way.
• Ability to assess term, exclusivity and conveyance language in legal documents.
• High attention to detail and ability to structure findings in standardized formats.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote, document‑heavy environment.
