Radiographer

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Radiographer to produce high‑quality diagnostic images using a range of imaging modalities. The successful candidate will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate imaging while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Key responsibilities

• Position patients and equipment to obtain optimal diagnostic images across X‑ray, CT, MRI and ultrasound platforms.
• Operate imaging equipment in accordance with established protocols and radiation protection standards.
• Prepare and inform patients about procedures, addressing questions and ensuring comfort.
• Review images for quality, make necessary adjustments, and document findings accurately.
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment, reporting any malfunctions promptly.
• Collaborate with medical staff to select appropriate imaging techniques and ensure proper use of contrast media when required.
• Uphold patient confidentiality, infection control and safety procedures at all times.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Radiography from an accredited university.
• Registration with the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN).
• Minimum two years of proven experience as a radiographer.

Required skills

• Proficient operation of X‑ray, CT, MRI and ultrasound equipment.
• Expertise in patient positioning and radiation safety protocols.
• Ability to perform image quality control and adjust imaging parameters.
• Knowledge of contrast media administration and related safety procedures.
• Strong understanding of human anatomy and medical terminology for accurate image interpretation.
• Basic equipment troubleshooting and routine maintenance.
• Accurate documentation of patient information and imaging results.
