Quantity Surveyor – Construction Project Planning & Cost Estimation

About the role

Our client in the construction industry is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support operations and field teams in project planning, cost estimation, procurement, and material coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Review project plans, analyze construction drawings, and perform accurate material take‑offs (MTOs).
• Obtain quotes, place orders, and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Track inventory, coordinate daily site activities, and assist in scheduling.
• Assist with job site safety adherence and required inspections.
• Maintain project records, update cost databases, and report project progress.
• Work closely with engineers, designers, estimators, and project managers to streamline operations.

Required profile

• HND or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Proven background in quantity surveying, construction and project management.
• Strong understanding of construction materials, methods and execution strategies.

Required skills

• Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam or equivalent construction tools.
