Quality Trade & Complaints Specialist – East Region

About the role

The Quality Trade & Complaints Specialist will serve as the frontline technical representative for customers across Eastern Nigeria. The role focuses on technical complaint investigation, bakery support, quality auditing and customer relationship management to ensure optimal flour performance and protect the brand reputation.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct field investigations and technical audits at customer bakeries, distribution outlets and trade locations.
• Diagnose flour and bakery performance issues, identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Collect technical evidence, analyse findings and prepare detailed investigation reports.
• Supervise bakery trials to evaluate flour performance and support product optimisation.
• Manage customer complaints from receipt to resolution while ensuring compliance with company procedures.
• Coordinate product sampling and laboratory analysis to support investigations and technical assessments.

Required profile

• Minimum five (5) years’ experience in flour milling, industrial baking, bakery technical services, quality assurance or related fields.
• Strong understanding of flour functionality, baking processes and bakery performance evaluation.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities with a proven track record of root‑cause analysis.
• Ability to interpret laboratory results and translate findings into practical bakery solutions.
• Effective customer relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
