Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

The Quality Assurance Engineer will design and implement tests, debug issues, and define corrective actions. You will review system requirements and track QA metrics, ensuring software runs smoothly and meets client needs before launch.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers, architects, product and project managers to design software solutions.
• Derive acceptance criteria from a QA perspective for product requirements.
• Create test cases based on defined acceptance criteria.
• Execute various types of tests to certify application quality before deployment.
• Maintain records of bugs captured for applications.
• Conduct exploratory and learning tests for new features.
• Ensure every deployed feature is free of bugs.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of proven experience as a quality assurance analyst/engineer or similar role.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with software design and development in a test‑driven environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Technical depth and analytical skills.
• Minimum BSc in Computer Science or a related field.
