QA/QC Technician - Construction & Interior Fit-Out

About the role

Spacefinish is looking for an experienced QA/QC Technician to work on a flexible, call-out basis on construction and interior fit-out projects. The role reports to the Head of Project Operations and covers establishing, auditing and enforcing quality management systems so that every project meets international standards, client specifications and Spacefinish's own benchmarks. It is a fixed-term, 3-month contract, renewable depending on project duration and performance, and engagement is on an as-needed basis.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and enforce QA/QC policies, procedures and manuals aligned with ISO 9001:2015 and Lean Six Sigma, and drive a quality culture across project teams.
• Carry out routine site audits of materials, workmanship and construction processes, identify non-conformances and ensure timely closure of corrective actions.
• Oversee quality control through design review, procurement, execution and commissioning, and validate inspection reports, test reports and vendor certifications; enforce mock-ups, sample approvals and first-off inspections.
• Train internal teams and subcontractors on QA/QC standards, introduce lean processes to reduce rework and delays, and lead root cause analysis of recurring defects.
• Represent QA/QC in client and consultant meetings and provide clear documentation and reporting.

Required profile

• Minimum Auditor Level 2 certification.
• Certification in ISO 9001:2015 and/or Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
• 4-8 years of QA/QC experience in construction and interior fit-out projects.
• Proven experience with Tier-1 companies such as ITB, El-Alan, Julius Berger (JB) or Cappa & D'Alberto.
• Strong technical knowledge of civil works, finishing, MEP systems and interior joinery.
