Public Health Staff

About the role

The Rightliving Health Foundation is seeking a motivated Public Health Staff member to lead community health sensitisation programmes in the Marina area of Delta State. You will work directly with local organisations, schools and community groups to raise awareness of preventive healthcare and promote the Foundation’s services.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and secure venues for health sensitisation programmes using official proposal letters.
• Plan, organise and deliver community health awareness campaigns, seminars, wellness talks and fitness programmes.
• Build and maintain relationships with schools, churches, companies and other community groups.
• Conduct market research to uncover new opportunities for expanding health programmes.
• Prepare and present engaging material on preventive healthcare and the Foundation’s services.
• Assist with data collection, reporting, administrative duties and creation of simple health education materials.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Business Administration, Mass Communication or related field.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities; able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for health promotion, community development and willingness to meet set targets.
• Residence within Effurun, PTI, Enerhen, Jakpa, Uvwie or nearby areas in Warri, Delta State.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail, Forms).
• Experience using Microsoft PowerPoint and Canva for presentations and educational materials.
• Basic computer and data‑entry skills.
• Knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X) for health awareness campaigns.
