Project Manager, Solar Manufacturing & Deployment

About the role

Moon Innovations is a Nigerian cleantech company building and deploying modular Solar Utility Boxes (SUBs). The Project Manager will lead end‑to‑end projects, from manufacturing and assembly to community deployment, ensuring scope, timeline and budget are met.

Key responsibilities

• Lead projects from SUB manufacturing through on‑site deployment, maintaining scope, schedule and budget.
• Plan and track production schedules, bill of materials, inventory, quality checks and batch assembly progress.
• Oversee procurement of components, vendor sourcing, quotations, purchase approvals, imports and delivery tracking.
• Coordinate stakeholders including community leaders, local operators, partners, clients and suppliers.
• Supervise logistics and on‑site deployment of solar, broadband and cold‑storage infrastructure.
• Manage project reporting: workplans, milestone tracking, financial and progress reports, and documentation.

Required profile

• 3+ years of project management experience, preferably in manufacturing, energy, infrastructure or telecoms.
• Experience with procurement, inventory or production planning.
• Strong organisational, budgeting and written English skills.
• Proficiency with Zoho Projects or similar project‑management tools.
• Willingness to split time between workshop and remote field sites.
