Project Manager – Contract Manager for Bridges (Nigeria)

About the role

As Project Manager (Contract Manager), you will be responsible for comprehensive oversight of all quality and site operations on a significant infrastructure project in Nigeria. You will manage contracts, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, ensure compliance with technical specifications, and drive project delivery to the highest standards. This leadership position requires strategic thinking combined with hands‑on site management expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Provide full operational and quality oversight of major bridge and infrastructure works.
• Manage contracts, negotiate terms, and ensure contractual compliance.
• Coordinate and lead on‑site teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with engineering specifications and safety standards.
• Drive project delivery schedules, budgets, and performance metrics.

Required profile

• National Diploma in Civil Engineering (minimum).
• 20+ years of experience in civil engineering and construction.
• At least 5 years as a Contracts Manager or Construction Manager on major infrastructure projects.
• Experience with large bridge projects or similar civil structures (highly preferred).
• Proven track record in quality assurance and site operations management.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑responsibility environment.
